Willowbrook Primary School PTFA calls out for votes to get a share of Tesco’s Stronger Starts fund
We are delighted to announce we have been shortlisted to receive a grant from the TESCO Stronger Starts Scheme supported by Groundwork.
The grant will be used for Breakfast and After-school club groceries. This service is vital to support the children and families in the school community and make sure children have access to good quality food before and after school.
Three groups have been selected, and we are one of them! Tesco customers can vote for the group they think should take away the top award in their local Tesco store.
Voting is open in the Tesco stores listed below from Mid-January to the end of March 2025. To vote, you will need to make a purchase within store of any value. You will receive one token per transaction and it's not necessary to purchase a carrier bag in order to receive a token. If you use Self Service tills, then you can ask for a token from a member of staff.
At the end of the voting period, the charity who receives the most tokens will receive £1,500, the charity in second place will receive £1,000 and the charity in third place will receive £500.

Dear Willowbrook Parents/Carers,
Please find below the results of the Christmas Raffle drawn by Mrs Branton this morning.
We cannot thank everyone enough for the continued support of the PTFA and our events. The raffle made a massive £413 - this is such an amazing amount, so thank you.
We must thank the generous businesses that donated prizes for the raffle. This includes Hilbery Chaplin, DM Delights, Tesco Brentwood Express (Hanging Hill Lane) and Jazwares.
The prizes were taken to the winning child's classroom, so hopefully be with you before the end of term.
Merry Christmas to you all, and a Happy New Year.
